
The purpose of our school dress code is to promote neatness, discipline, and to insure that other students are not distracted from the purposes of school.
The enforcement of the dress code is a joint responsibility of the parents, students, teachers, and administrator. Let's all work together to provide a learning atmosphere free of emphasis on clothing.
No head covering or sunglasses will be worn inside the building.
No obscene language or pictures, gang related language or pictures, tobacco or alcoholic advertisements may be worn.
No bare midriff blouses, spaghetti strap shirts or halters shall be worn except when worn over other appropriate clothing. No see-through garments.
Shirts, blouses, and pants must be buttoned, zipped, or closed in such a manner as not to interfere with the learning process.
No mini-skirts, spandex type outer garments or inappropriately cut-up jeans will be allowed.
No body piercing other than earrings for girls.
No earrings for boys.
Pants must be buttoned and zipped and worn around the waist. NO SAGGING PANTS. Belts must be worn if pants have belt loops.
Shoes must be worn at all times. No flip-flops.
No cut off shorts. All shorts must be hemmed and be no more than three (3) inches above the knee.
Shirt tails are to be tucked inside pants/shorts.
The principal may make other rules regarding dress and appearance as may be appropriate to carry out the intent of these provisions.
